Terms of Service

Welcome to Every-Day Computers Inc. By subscribing to our internet, hosting, or related services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. Service Overview

We provide residential and business internet access, data center hosting, and support services across Northern B.C.

2. Customer Responsibilities

• Maintain your own equipment unless rented from us.
• Use services lawfully and without causing disruption to the network.
• No spam, malware, piracy, or other prohibited activities.

3. Plans & Billing

• Monthly billing; plan rates vary by tier.
• 2-Year plans may incur early termination fees.
• Late payments may lead to suspension after 15 days.
• Plans (Including but not limited to: 2 year plans, 3 year plans, month to month plans)may incure extra fees in line with other services incurred, dependant on the customer.
• You may be subject to a credit check for services if needed or required.

4. Service Availability

Speeds are subject to variation. We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uptime.

5. Rentals

Modem/router rentals are optional. Return required at cancellation or fees apply.

6. Fair Use

Excessive or damaging network usage may be throttled or reviewed.

7. Termination

Month-to-month plans can be cancelled any time. 2-Year plans require notice.

Plans may be cancelled at any time, but service fees, contract stipulations and/or other charges may occur if needed by Every-Day Computers Inc.

8. Liability

Liability is limited to one month’s service fee. No responsibility for indirect damages.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. You will be notified of any significant changes.

Privacy Policy

Every-Day Computers Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).

• Contact information (name, address, email)
• Billing/payment details
• Service usage logs (to monitor network health)

2. Why We Collect It

• To provide, maintain, and improve services
• To process payments and communicate with you
• To comply with legal or regulatory obligations

3. How We Protect It

Data is stored securely and accessed only by authorized staff. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except where required by law.

4. Your Rights

You can request access to your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us at support@evcominc.com.

5. Changes to this Policy

We may revise this policy and post the updated version on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes your agreement to any changes.
